This California Wedding was truly a fairytale. Kimberly and Scott have the most adorable story. They met in 3rd grade (1999), Scott was the new kid in school that at all the girls had a crush, Kimberly was one of those girls with a crush. It didn’t take long for sparks to fly and conversations over the family landline to begin. They even had a mock wedding where Kimberly’s thumb ring acted as the wedding band.

Now, 19 years later and they are saying their official “I Do’s” underneath a blanket of redwood trees in the Northern California town of Occidental. To top it off they decided to have their bridal portraits taken at Bodega Bay (which I did not mind one bit)! Their day was beautiful and Kimberly’s amazing style bled through in every aspect of the day.

There is so much more I could write about these two… like how beautiful her dress was that her mother made (decorated with flowers and heirloom rings from generations of women in her family) or how jealous I am of their New Zealand honeymoon plans, but I’ll leave you with these photos to tell the rest of their story.
