I live for authentic connection and telling a story through my photos. I love adventurous couples, outdoor weddings, natural light, unplugged moments, packed dance floors and clients who become friends. I'm here to photograph you, serve you, laugh with you, cry with you, feel with you, make you feel like a million bucks, and make you look hella good in your photos.

After over seven months and a billion revisions, my website is finally LIVE!! I feel a little like I just gave birth. Ok maybe metaphorically speaking because let’s be real, I actually have no idea what giving birth feels like! But like giving birth, this moment has been loaded with anticipation. It’s taken sooo much hard work to get us here, and man oh man, am I proud of this new home of mine!
Now, you might be wondering why I did this, how I pulled it off and what it changes. Don’t worry, I’m going to unpack all of that. But FIRST, let’s take a closer look, shall we??
WHY: When I first started this project I had to answer the WHY question. Why did I need this? Why spend the money? The answer: it didn’t feel personal and it wasn’t the experience I wanted for my couples.
I wanted a website that felt familiar and inviting, just like my home. But when I created it, I had YOU in mind. How could I serve you, answer your questions, resource you with planning tips or simply make you smile? I wanted to create a whole new experience and I knew it was going to take WAY more expertise than I had.
HOW: I started following Sarah Crook from Alisabeth Designs back in 2018 and fell in love with her design style. I knew that when I was ready to take this step in my business she would be the first one I’d call. Then, in September of 2019 I started an innocent chat with her about my dream to rebrand. An hour long phone call later and I had booked her for a December timeline. And you guys, Sarah is the real deal!! She is soo crazy talented and has the biggest heart. I could tell from the get go that my dream was her top priority.
So, we got to work! I spent September to December creating mood boards, writing content, crying because it was hard and pressing on because I knew it was worth it. Throughout the whole process Sarah and her team were organized, always available and SUPER patient with my decision making. haha. To see some of the inspiration I used along the way, click on the photo below to go to my pinterest mood board.
WHAT: So what was it that I wanted in a site? I wanted to clearly showcase the experience I offer and what sets me a part, as a photographer AND as a person. I wanted a site where anyone from brides to strangers to friends could come and feel welcome. But I also wanted a site that could grow with me as I grow – as a photographer, adventurer, wife and storyteller (and maybe someday as a mom).
Yes, I wanted it to be beautiful and artistic, so I packed it full of stunning photos and my sisters amazing illustrations. I was going to go through the trouble of redoing every corner of my webspace to get it JUST right. And YA’LL, I’m SOOO happy with it!
So now what? I want you to take a look around. Click through the navigation bar and make yourself at home. You can even leave a little note below about what you liked. I’m sooo excited to finally share this piece of my heart with you!
